A story where online gay friends meet for the holidays. That’s cute!
SPOILERS
The pacing can feel slow at times and the stakes are low, which culminates in 2 endings depending if you decide to travel overseas, or stay with Hervé.
The romance with someone older and experienced who will treat you right is a fantasy many had as closeted baby gays, so I think I get where this comes from, hehe.
The other ending where he travels overseas, doesn’t have free time and can’t make lasting connections is a simple but sad thing that does happen.
While I liked how Sebastién’s life changes with this, I was a bit dissapointed that traveling overseas was mostly a bad ending, instead of just a different life.
The game ends a bit abruptly, but considering this is for a game jam, it’s understandable.
The art was pretty, and the hug CG was adorable.
All in all, soft and sweet!
Well, this is a very sweet and lovely story, reminding me a bit of my relationship with one of my friends. Even though the size of the story is small, it's still cute.
This is a very cozy, chill read! The sprites were well made and I loved the backgrounds and the music. Very minor nitpicks - the text box and side sprites fading in and out was a little distracting, and the music could use a fade in or fade out to make things a little smoother. Other than those two things, I really enjoyed this VN! Great job!
That was quite a nice read. There’s quite a few grammar mistakes and weird expressions, but as a french guy, I got where they come from. They don’t impact the reading experience much anyway. The sprites are really cute.^^ The second ending kind of feels tacked on, and the music accompanying the last sequence makes it sound so sad.
Thank you for your feedback, I will try to read again for a final update ^^
Yeah the second ending is a bit too sad. I planned for this kind of ending but the transition is probably too brutal.
yeah cozy is a good word to describe this vn
Really cozy and cute work! i quite enjoyed it!
